The assignment that I created was a Civil War timeline. It was used to get students familiar with the start, end, and major events in the Civil War. This assignment could be used as a preview lesson leading into the Civil War. I had to make and complete this assignment for my education technology class for college. I didn't really have any problems with the assignment because the directions were pretty straight forward and not hard to follow. I did learn a few things from actually doing this assignment about the different battles that I picked out, such as the Battle of Antietam being the bloodiest single day in all of American History. This would be a pretty good and easy assignment for students to do and actually learn something from because they would have to read a little bit while researching about the Civil War.
Step 1. Get a piece of paper and a pen/pencil and make a timeline for the Civil War. Make sure to give it a title.
Step 2: Use the Computer, chrome book, or ipad to look up your information.
Step 3: Tell when the start of the Civil War was and where it was located at.
Step 4: Pick four major battles of the Civil War and put a small description of each battle, such as date, location, casualties, etc.
Step 5: Tell when and where the Civil War ended.
